The only catch is you have to build it yourself. The SubSonex JSX-2 makes its first flight as it wraps up certification and prepares delivery to pre-order customers that coughed up the measly $125,000 to drive home with their very own (free)trailer full of airplane parts. Video after the jump.
Complete with retractable landing gear and a ballistic parachute recovery system, it looks like a fun little craft, as long as you don't have any pieces left over after you get it put together. Cruising at nearly 200mph and capable of aerobatics with deliveries planned for later this summer.
